Senior Profile: Adam Bagley

Every team needs a player who is not afraid to be physical and do the dirty work. Adam is that guy for Lancaster this year. He is often called on to go in and battle with the opposing players biggest guy. If the team needs a little spark or if coach feels they are not being physical enough he will often send in Adam to take care of that.

Last season Adam was part of the Sectional Championship team. While he may not have seen a lot of time on the court, he learned a lot watching Seniors like Conor Mahoney and Shane Schaefer. Players who understood the importance of their role in providing the team with toughness and grit. This season Adam has stepped into that role nicely. He has entered many games ready to do battle and let the other team know Lancaster will not be pushed around. In a number of games Adam's physical play inside has gotten opposing players in foul trouble, as they would get frustrated they were unable to move him out of their way. His length makes it hard for opponents to get by him while his strength makes it difficult for them to get into a good scoring position. Coach Otto said, "Adam is a competitor. He sets goals and works hard at achieving them. This has led to him being in the starting lineup the last few games." Don't let the smile fool you; when Adam steps on the court he is all business. There is no doubt whatever goals Adam sets for himself in the future he will be able to achieve them.
